Improving the quality of life of patients and families begins with a sense of support and a seamless experience between institutions. A number of projects have been developed within the scope of MUSCO to allow patients and their families to feel supported and to streamline and facilitate the corresponding administrative procedures. This involves providing tools and resources to improve logistics and families’ experiences throughout their care trajectory.

At this stage, the idea would be to develop an application that will allow the user to outline the child’s life path, with an avatar that will change based on their emotions and using different scenarios to identify their strengths.
In order to refine the project’s orientation, a working group was set up for the ideation phase, conducted in collaboration with an external partner, Yapouni, which specializes in the development of therapeutic and playful games. The objective of this process is to map the major events in the life of a child with musculoskeletal disorders in relation to the difficulties experienced by families and the resources available. This exercise will make it possible to define the specific functionalities of the application that could be developed.
