How does MUSCO impact collaboration?

Q : What are the main benefits associated with an inter-institutional collaboration initiative like MUSCO? Why is it important to work alongside other healthcare institutions?

A : The MUSCO Initiative is an important driver of collaborative efforts among pediatric institutions in the Montreal community. It allows us to pool our knowledge, share our practices and find common solutions to improve the health and well-being of children with musculoskeletal disorders.

Children and their parents are navigating a complex universe where several doctors, nurses and professionals in a variety of different institutions do not all have the same access and communication protocols. MUSCO becomes a cornerstone that facilitates the lives of children and families by improving the care and service pathway, by providing support and comfort and by humanizing services.
