The initial was  to promote the application of innovative clinical research to patient care by hiring a clinician scientist specializing in spinal disorders who can integrate research expertise and knowledge into clinical practice at the AGIS! clinic.

Clinician scientists are key staff members with integrated responsibilities. Their role is fundamental in health innovation because they contribute to research and also apply research results in the clinical setting.

Discussions are underway to possibly modify the focus of the project based on the needs that were initially expressed and depending on positions that could feasibly be created at the hospital.
